- RevenueCat: Subscription status and billing information (we do NOT receive payment card details)

How We Share Your Information
Within Carpools
Information you add to carpools (names, events, rides) is visible to all members of that carpool only. We do not share this information outside your carpools.
Service Providers

- Firebase (Google): Hosting, authentication, analytics, push notifications
- RevenueCat: Subscription and billing management
- Google Maps: Address lookup and location services
These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us.

Access and Update

Delete Your Data
You can delete your account and associated data by:
- Going to Settings → Family Settings → Delete Account
- OR emailing us at privacy@squadcars.app
When you delete your account:
- Your profile and family information are permanently deleted
- You're removed from all carpools
- Your events and ride history are deleted
- This action cannot be undone
Opt-Out of Communications
You can disable push notifications in your device settings or in the app.
Data Portability
You can request a copy of your data by emailing privacy@squadcars.app
Children's Privacy
SquadCars is designed for use by parents and guardians. While you can add information about your children to coordinate carpools, children under 13 should not create their own accounts or use the app without parental supervision.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us immediately at privacy@squadcars.app.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. When you delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except where we're required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.
International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
